The eye can be a site of metasasis from other sites - sometimes even in the context of a well pet - making accurate diagnosis of the metastatic pattern critical to patient care. In this workshop, we review some common patterns of metastasis in dogs and cats, review some of the more common types of neoplasms that spread to the eye, and touch on some of the secondary lesions that can help or hinder the diagnosis.
