Canine Iridocorneal Angle and Goniodysgenesis

$50.00

In order to interpret the canine iridocorneal angle, one must be familiar with the normal architecture. Only then can significant pathologic changes be identified, etiologies or differentials be offered, and risk to the other eye be assessed. This is particularly true of goniodysgenesis, a common cause of canine glaucoma with known risk to the other eye. In this workshop, we will review the structure of the normal iridocorneal angle - from low mag to fine structure - and establish diagnostic criteria for reliable interpretation as well when to call it equivocal. We will also review a grossing technique that increases diagnostic yield for glaucoma etiology. This will be a treat for clinicians who want a review of the architecture and some of the associated lesions of goniodysgenesis!
